Hi, could you do Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart"? (Also I love your blog btw, it lets me play loads of pieces that I otherwise wouldn't be able to because of the cost)

Kfkskdjjf i WISH I had gotten this ask yesterday so I could’ve posted it during the eclipse BUT I will have it up for u asap lol

quick update!

hey everyone! i am leaving for college tomorrow and moving in the next day so it may be a little bit longer until i get the next piece up, but my goal once i settle in to school is to post once a week. obviously i know i have not kept up with goals in the past so no promises, but i think i’ll be able to maintain this.

Margaret ! I have been playing cello almost 4 years but my only strings classes have been middle school and one in grade 10 high school. I don't have an out of school teacher because of transportation and money + strings just got CUT @ my school so now I have zero lessons. How do I teach myself on my own? I'm ridiculously subpar because of the quality and regularity of the lessons that I HAVE received also. Help plz? 😭😭😭

it took me so long to answer this im so sorry!!! i’m going to ask my followers to reply or send me and ask if they have any experience with self-teaching cello though because i really have no experience at all :/ i would think there are probably videos on youtube out there that can help you to some degree but a lot of technique is hard to learn without an actual teacher so idk…. i’m sorry i couldn’t be more helpful!
